Scholarship candidates in Quang Ngai and Lao Cai provinces, Vietnam, are recommended directly by teachers or schools that reach out to our board member, Linh Pham.
In other areas of Vietnam, we support scholarship candidates and educational projects selected by charities we collaborate with: The Vietnam Education Society (VES) and the Children of Vietnam Benevolent Foundation (CVBF). Additionally, through VES, we support candidates from the Pacific Links Foundation. We are currently working on establishing a similar collaboration with the Bui Trong Chuong Scholarship Fund (BTCSF).
Our scholarship organization in Vietnam

Our friends in Vietnam
The Vietnam Education Society (VES – Charity # 860737634RR001): is a Canadian-registered charity dedicated to helping Vietnamese children. Founded in 2005 by Professor Carin Holroyd, the organization has raised nearly $2.5 million. These funds have been used to construct primary schools, school libraries, and kindergartens; provide lunches for kindergarten children; and supply school materials, kitchens, kitchen equipment, playground roofs, and more.
We currently donate funds to VES for scholarships and plan to participate in its primary school projects in the future. At present, donations come from our individual directors; however, we aim to establish corporate-to-corporate donation partnerships in the near future.
Pacific Links Foundation: PLF’s Education portfolio empowers disadvantaged youth to access education and improve their economic opportunities.
Through VES, we collaborate with the Pacific Links Foundation by donating funds for scholarships and participating in their English teaching program, as well as their mentoring activities.

Mr. Tùng Hoàng: Mr. Hoàng is the Director of the SEEDS (Scholarship to Elevate Education and Develop Skills) program at the Pacific Links Foundation (PLF), where he works full-time to empower underprivileged students through education and skills development. He also supports the humanitarian work in Vietnam of the Vietnam Education Society (VES) as a volunteer and on behalf of PLF.
With over 20 years of experience managing educational development programs and co-leading humanitarian projects, Tùng has made a lasting impact on thousands of lives across Vietnam.
In additional to his heavy responsibilities with PLF and VES, Mr. Hoàng has been providing invaluable assistance to HVTT Foundation. He is the kind-hearted go-to person for HVTT and the recipients of scholarships we award jointly with VES and Pacific Links Foundation.
The Children of Vietnam Benevolent Foundation (CVBF) is a registered Canadian charity, founded in Edmonton, Alberta, in June 2013 by refugees who came to Canada.
It provides food and other basic necessities to orphaned, abandoned, and disabled children in orphanages. The foundation also supplies books, school supplies, uniforms, hearing aids, wheelchairs, bicycles, and other essentials to underprivileged children. Additionally, it offers educational funds and scholarships to help impoverished students pursue education and post-secondary studies.
Currently our board members donate to CVBF for scholarships and collaborate with them to select scholarship candidates. We hope to set up corporation-to-corporation donations in the near future.
The Bui Trong Chuong Scholarship Fund: The Bui Trong Chuong Scholarship Fund has been established to provide scholarships to talented and financially disadvantaged students at the high school where Mr. Bui Trong Chuong spent his entire teaching career, the Le Hong Phong High School (formerly Petrus Ky HS).
Recipients of BTC Scholarships receive support in applying for scholarships abroad.
BTCSF’s co-founder and president, Professor Hy Luong, has a strong network in Quang Ngai province, including connections with Pham Van Dong University. He can assist HVTT Foundation in supporting PVD University’s and ethnic minority students in Quang Ngai. Additionally, HVTT can help connect gifted students seeking international scholarships with the BTC Scholarship Fund.
