Lives that we are helping to change
The students we support often live in conditions of extreme poverty. They are either orphans or children of low-income parents who work as subsistence farmers, fishers, or street vendors. They are required to help their parents earn a living from a very young age. Their schools often lack basic necessities.
In less than three years since its founding, the HVTT Foundation has helped 24 underprivileged students build a better future—either through its own scholarships or through those awarded by other charities with donations from HVTTF and its board members—for a total value of $19,000 CAD
