Our goal is to transform young lives, not simply to reward academic excellence. We support students who have been accepted into universities or vocational colleges, who work part-time to fund their education but struggle to make ends meet without assistance.
Our efforts go beyond just sending a check. We strive to ensure that students graduate and do not drop out midway due to financial hardship. In addition to scholarships, we offer extra financial support during special circumstances, such as natural disasters. We also provide tutoring, particularly in English and STEM subjects, in collaboration with other charitable organizations.

S. (third from left) is an exceptional student of Chinese language. Although she was accepted into university, financial constraints initially prevented her from attending. By the time we learned about her situation, she had already completed one year at a vocational college.
We awarded her two scholarships and provided financial assistance to support her family after severe flooding affected the region where they live.
S. has graduated in 2025 and successfully secured a job (Years 2023, 2024, 2025).

T., an orphan, is currently pursuing a degree in economic law. She was born to a single mother who sold lottery tickets on the streets of HCM City to support her family while T. was being raised by her grandparents. Her grandfather passed away when she was in grade 2. Her grandmother, who is in poor health, supports them both with the meager income she earns from growing and selling vegetables from a small garden.
Due to her lack of transportation, T. works part-time three days a week in a low-paying job, with shifts lasting 11 hours each day.
To support her, we have awarded her scholarships to cover her tuition fees, along with additional funds to purchase a motorbike, which will help her secure a better-paying job. Furthermore, we provide her with English tutoring lessons (Years 2024 & 2025).

Through the Vietnam Education Society (VES) we are participating in Pacific Links Foundation’s (PLF) SEEDS scholarship program. We are donating funds to provide a university scholarship for one of three students from Son Tinh District in Quang Ngai province, Vietnam.
These are exceptionally gifted students from families facing significant economic challenges – low income and ailing parents.
While we wish we could support all of these very deserving students, our current budget only allows us to support one of them.

Th. is currently pursuing a degree in English language. Her mother passed away when she was in grade 10. Her father is in poor health and suffered an accident in 2023. She lives with her elderly grandmother and younger sister. Th. dreams of becoming a teacher and securing a good job to support her family.
We provided her with a scholarship to cover her first year’s living expenses and the purchase of a computer. Since then, she has been able to manage on her own (Year 2023).

M. is pursuing a degree in pedagogy and works part-time to support herself. Her father passed away when she was very young, and her mother, who is in poor health, can only do menial work. Her younger sister fell gravely ill around the time of their father’s passing.
M. deliberately chose a university close to home so she could assist her ailing mother.
We provided her with a scholarship to cover her living expenses during her first year of study (Year 2024)

We have awarded 12 scholarships to ethnic minority students, sponsored by teacher Hien (Center) from Tay Tra High School, located in the highlands of Quang Ngai province. Minority students are exempt from tuition fees and receive a stipend from the government. Typically, they can afford their education with some part-time work. However, before receiving the government stipend for their first year, they require assistance to cover the first few months of expenses.
This support often determines whether they can pursue higher education, and break free from the economic hardship faced by their families and communities, or perpetuate in it (Years 2023 & 2024)

Aldea de Niños Cristo Rey is an orphanage in Guayaquil, Ecuador, that offers orphans the chance to experience family life and receive an education. In recent years, Ecuador has faced significant social and economic challenges, leaving the orphanage struggling to make ends meet.
Although we typically support orphanages indirectly through other charities, in 2023, we made an exception and sent donations directly to assist them.

N. (second from the left) is a high school student who has been awarded a scholarship due to her family’s exceptional economic hardship. Also pictured is Linh Pham (right), one of our directors in Vietnam, who personally delivered the money to N. (Year 2023).
